O’Kane, Mary T., 83, of Mays Landing died with her daughters at her side at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Atlantic City on Friday, November 9th. Born in Elizabeth, NJ to John and Theresina Iacovino on July 1,1929. Mary resided in Toms River most of her life until retiring in 1996 from Fluid Packaging in Lakewood, NJ. Then she spent her remaining years in Mays Landing, NJ with her daughter Mary. She is predeceased by her husband of 30 years, James F. O’Kane and is survived by her three children, Mary Christophel, of Mays Landing, John O’Kane of Spokane, Washington, and Maureen Conceicao and her husband John of Jackson, NJ. Where she loved her four grandkittens, Sable, Madison, Calvin and Hobbs. A celebration of Mary’s life will be from 6-7:30, with services at 7:30, on Thursday November 15th at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Humane Society in her name.
