Frances J. Brown, 89, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2012 at her home. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Thorwald and Frances Pederson, and her husband, Daniel Brown. She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ketschek and David Ketschek, her sister, Elizabeth Jones (William), her sister, Katherine Brickhouse (George), her granddaughter, Kimberly LaPergola (Scott) and grandson, Brian Ketschek (Wendi), her five greatgrandchildren, Danielle LaPergola, Nicholas LaPergola, Kaylee Murray, Jessica Ketschek and David Ketschek, and her wonderful caregiver and friend, Augustina Ansere.
Following her retirement from Thomas Scientific, Frances moved to Mays Landing in 1991, where she enjoyed many gatherings with her family and friends. She volunteered in several area thrift shops and was a regular at the Mays Landing Senior Center where she enjoyed the company of her fellow seniors, the staff, activities (especially Bingo) and various trips.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 8th, 11am, at the St. Vincent dePaul Church, 5061 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 10am till the time of the mass. Burial will be in the Asbury United Methodist Cemetery.
