Benjamin B. Painter, “Butch”, 76, of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Butch was born and raised in North Jersey and served in the US Marine Corps. In 1963 he moved to McKee City with his family and worked for Coast Photo Engravers of Atlantic City. In his later years he enjoyed wood working and projects around the house. He is predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Floriene Painter and his brother Bernard Painter. Butch is survived by his wife of 53 years Rosemary (nee: Ryan), his two children Dennis Painter of Port Republic and Karen Painter of Florida, two grandchildren Taryn and Jacob, and numerous nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 9th from 2-4pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where reflections will be shared at 4pm. Burial will be private.
