Joseph A. Pollio, 80, of Galloway Twp., passed away with his son by his side on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 after a long battle with kidney failure. He was born in New York City and later moved with his wife of 40 years to Egg Harbor Township where he lived with her for 38 years before residing at Royal Suites Health Care in Galloway. He is predeceased by his wife Yvonne, and is survived by his two children: Robert Pollio of Somers Point and Tracy Pollio of Atlantic City; by his very close friends Renee and Elsie Pugliese, Jessica Tuozzolo, and Joseph Albino; and grandchildren: Christopher Tuozzolo ,Tara and Amanda, Anna Marie, Ronald, and Joey Landy. Services will be held on December 7th at 3 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 2-3 PM. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in the Veterans Circle.
