John McFadden, 84, affectionately known as Jack, passed away at his Northfield, NJ home on October 26, 2012. A former resident of Somerton in NE Philadelphia for most of his life. Beloved husband of Rita (nee: McGuire) for 55 loving, memorable years. Devoted father of John McFadden (Phila) and Kathy Cox (Rick) of Northfield. A patriotic man who proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Jack was a Lithographer by trade for over 40 years before retiring from JC Meyers in Center City Phila. He will always be remembered for his quiet wit and kind ways. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Jack’s Life Celebration on Monday, November 5, from 11 AM – 1 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 1 PM. Interment will follow in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor.
