Patricia E. Lomangino, 69, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, October 9, 2014. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late James P. and Josephine Gallagher on November 19, 1944. She was predeceased by her loving sister, Josephine (Henderson) Blood and great nephew Stephen. She was a graduate of Ocean City High School and went on to marry her loving husband of 50 years, Frank Lomangino Sr.. They began their married life together in Northfield NJ, then eventually went on to raise their family in Mays Landing NJ. Pat worked for Atlantic County Special Services School District until she retired in 1995 and was passionate about making a difference in the lives of the children. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Pat is survived by her husband, Frank E. Lomangino, Sr, ; her son Frank E. Lomangino, Jr., his wife Lina; her daughter, Dawne Lomangino-DiMauro, her husband Bruce; Christopher Carey, who she considered as one of her own and his wife Mary; and the most precious in her eyes, Mom-Moms grandchildren; Kyle, Christopher, Brianna, Ryan, Lizzy, Catie and Bella. Pat also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, family members and friends. A gathering for friends and family will be held Thursday October 16th from10-11:30 AM at Saint Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, where a Mass will follow at 11:30.
