Roseanne Emper, 77, a lifelong resident of Mays Landing, passed away on October 5, 2014 at her home. Roseanne worked at the Atlantic County Library for 42 years until her retirement in 1999. She was a devoted member of St. Vincent De Paul Church. Roseanne loved spending time with her family and friends. Roseanne is survived by her sister, Maryjane Karpinski, her brother Frank Emper (Evelyn Cordery), her two nieces Terry Egan and Kathleen Richard (Keith), her three nephews, Frank Emper, Robert Karpinski (Dalva) and Gregory Karpinski, and 9 great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Bessie, her sister-in-law Norma Emper, and brother-in-law Matthew Karpinski. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8th, from 6-8pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 9th, 10:00am, at the St. Vincent DePaul, 5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
