Marie Mary Pierce, (Burbee) (nee: Schenk) of Ventnor, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2014. She was a receptionist for Pacemaker Boat and an Avon Lady for 30 years. She is survived by two sons: Mark (Karen) Burbee of Fort Mills, SC and Anthony (Marlene) Burbee of Mays Landing; four grandchildren: Jean-Marie Burbee of Pleasantville, Brandon Burbee of Millersville, MD, Jimmy & Christy Burbee of Mount Holly, SC, and Sara (Burbee) and Michel Bridges of Fort Mills, SC. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, at 12 Noon at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 11 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.
