Claudia Sherrick passed away on Thursday, April 10 at her home in Mays Landing where she had lived for 46 years. Claudia was born in Connellsville, Pa. and was the daughter of the late Earl and Juanita Sherrick, also of Mays Landing . She will be forever missed and remembered by her sister, Linda Sherrick Seagraves, her husband, Ronald Seagraves and her brother, Earl Sherrick and his wife, Audrey Sherrick all of Mays Landing. She is also survived by her loving nieces, Stephanie Seagraves Riis (Steve), Valerie Sherrick Summerville (Sam), Katie Sherrick Robbins (Adam) and her nephew Steven Sherrick. Claudia was a generous caregiver to Bobby Show, who also survives her. A graduate of Salem High & LaSalle University, she worked all her life as a Human Resource professional, initially in manufacturing at Wheaton Industries and later in health care. Claudia’s kind spirit and gentle manner were trademarks of her life and earned her many life-long friendships. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends at her beloved home on the Egg Harbor River. The family would like to thank AtlantiCare Hospice for their support the last few months, as well as her good friend Stefanie Longo, who provided much support to Claudia and the family through Claudia’s illness. A memorial service will be held for Claudia at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing on Tuesday, April 15, at 4 pm where friends may gather one hour prior to the service.
