Marie V. Helbig, 94, of Mays Landing passed away on November 20, 2013 at the Health Center of Galloway, NJ.
Marie was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late John and Katie Bevans on April 2, 1919. The oldest of six, she was the last surviving child, predeceased by her siblings; Annarita, Daniel, Alice, Kathleen, and Lillian. She attended John W. Hallahan High School. Marie met the love of her life, the late Leonard F. Helbig Jr. They were married on July 23, 1941, and spent 63 wonderful years together. She was a dedicated and loving mother who valued her Faith, Family and Friends.
She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her four children, Sister Kathleen, acj, Leonard III and his wife Shareen, John and his wife Maureen, and Thomas and his wife Kathleen, her eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 26th, 11am, at the St. Vincent DePaul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy., Mays Landing, NJ, where a viewing will be held from 10am till the time of the mass. Graveside services will follow 1:30pm, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
