Rose Marshall, 85, of Indian Branch Park, Hammonton, passed away on June 3, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimers.
Rose was born in Beaufort Co. NC to Bessie Mae and Marian Mann in March 1928. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Rose loved country music, dancing, crafts, and driving. Rose was the proprietor of the Rose Mar Café in Gloucester. She loved having backyard BBQ’s with family and friends.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph Marshall and her son Allen Sawyer. She is survived by son William Sawyer (Theresa) of South Carolina, daughter Janice Marx of Mays Landing, daughter Mikki Hulne (William) of Cape May Court House, son Gene Raimondo of MA and Diana Schell of Estell Manor. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, and survived by one sister Ella Wright of Florida. She will be loved and cherished by us all.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 8, 10-11 AM at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Atlantic Co. Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor.
